Definition and Usage

The overflow-style property specifies the preferred scrolling method for elements that overflow.

Syntax

overflow-style: auto|scrollbar|panner|move|marquee;

Values

Value Description
auto  
scrollbar Add scrollbars for elements that overflow
panner  
move The user can move the content of the element directly. Typically, the user can drag the content around with the mouse
marquee The content moves autonomously, without any user events to control it

Note: The value is either auto, or a list of methods in order of preference. The browser should use the first scrolling method in the list that it supports
